Okay, so all The Solus Project and The Martian really have in common is that they're both about being stranded on an alien planet. And if you have your iPod handy you'll be able to listen to Abba whilst exploring a vast alien landscape. In a new video explaining the premise and basic gist of The Solus Project, we get a good look at this new single-player sci-fi survival and exploration game from indie developer Grip Digital.

The video is quick to point out that for the most part this is strictly a linear experience, one focused on isolation, exploration, and some survival.

Apart from some slightly rough and low key visuals, this certainly looks like something for the exploration heads out there when it hits Early Access on Steam and Xbox One next month.
