Although digital copies of The Witcher 2 are being offered for free in most regions, unfortunately Australia is one of them. 10 titles have been added in total to the Xbox One backwards compatibility list, and as per the initial batch a fair percentage of them are Xbox Live Arcade or smaller titles. Which means that
still hasn't made the cut.
The latest titles include:
- Aegis Wing
- Age of Booty
- Counter-Strike: GO
- Jeremy McGrath's Offroad
- Sam & Max Save the World
- Skullgirls
- Small Arms
- Soulcalibur
- Space Giraffe
- The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
As to how well the Xbox One handles emulating the Xbox 360 hardware, which is still quite an amazing technical feat, Digital Foundry has posted an extensive article going through the catalogue. Turn out, it's a little hit and miss, with some titles performing better than ever, and others struggling to maintain a playable frame-rate.

If you're in Australia? No dice.

Go to: marketplace.xbox.com/.../66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d
Purchase the Xbox 360 version for free (first download on the page)
On your Xbox one, open my games and apps. Scroll all the way too the right in the games section. It should be available for download.
I found the link by logging into xbox.com.au and searching for "withcer 2" it was the second link in the general section.
