Starting tomorrow Destiny players will be able to take part in the Sparrow Racing League, a new limited event that is expected to run for three weeks. Using the up-to-now kind of useless Sparrow vehicles for more than just cool looking things that got you to quest markers a lot quicker than walking, Sparrow Racing League will pit players against each other in races set on Mars and Venus with rewards coming in the form of new gear. And new Sparrows.

This a very cool little bonus for Destiny players, and judging by the trailer below, it also looks like a lot of fun. And if nothing else should appease those very few Destiny fans that are also fans of Extreme G, the often forgotten futuristic racer for the Nintendo 64.
