As part of its financial reporting Take-Two announced that the upcoming shooter from Gearbox is now headed to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 3. Originally scheduled for release on February 9, this extra womb-time will no doubt allow Gearbox to add an extra coat of polish to the game. And in case you were wondering, yes Take-Two made a lot of money.

Often compared to a MOBA, Battleborn is a multiplayer-focused effort from the studio behind Borderlands. Its bright, colourful, sci-fi vibe, make it one to definitely keep an eye on. It's just that with the recent announcement that Blizzard's Overwatch is due in June, this just about puts the two games head-to-head.

In the mean-time check out the stylish multiplayer trailer for Battleborn.
