Attention lovers of StarCraft II and low-pings, your day has finally come! Flying through the air like a majestic beast of old (let's say a Pegasus thingy), comes new high-speed localised servers to ensure your StarCraft II multiplayer experience is as lag-free as humanly possible. Now, you may be thinking why the comparison to mythical creatures and majesty? Well, any game where success can be measured in successful APM (that's Actions Per Minute) then you know a low low ping is priority numero one-o.

"But hey, what about all my friends in America? The Bushes and the Clintons, will I still get to play StarCraft with them?" Well Timmy, the answer is yes! Just like with the magic they performed by bringing local servers to Diablo III (and other more well-known Blizzard titles), you will still connect to the same old Battle.Net. Just via a high-speed data center in Sydney.

And, just in time for the epic conclusion to the StarCraft II trilogy, Legacy of the Void, which launches November 10.

Local servers are available now for StarCraft II.
