In order for that headline to make sense you need to know a few things. First, that there was a version of Star Wars Battlefront being developed during the tail-end of the last decade by UK developer Free Radical. Second, that it was cancelled before it was officially announced, leaving many to wonder what it would have looked like. Third, that Wicket is the name of the Ewok that Willow played in Return of the Jedi. Okay, so onto to footage.

Posted by Ptoponline, a strong supporter and advocate for Video Game Preservation, this is the best look we've had at the cancelled game so far. Even though everything we see is still quite early (and very choppy), the look and feel is very different to the DICE and EA version of Star Wars Battlefront being released next month. For one, it acknowledges the Prequel Trilogy to the point where the outfits and vehicles look more Attack of the Clones than A New Hope.

Check it out.

So rather than the obvious wookie leaks, you went with a reference you had to explain... well i guess it makes people come into the thread wondering wtf you are on about.
