Although it was leaked a little while back, Capcom has officially revealed Laura Matsuda as one of the new fighters joining the Street Fighter V roster. Hailing from Bazil, like Street Fighter veteran Blanka, Laura's fighting style is a mixture of grappling and Jiu-Jitsu. Even though she looks nothing like Blanka, in the reveal trailer we do get a glimpse of Laura using electricity in a similar fashion to her green compatriot.

And for those that were wondering a bit about who Laura is, according to Capcom she has "a happy and outgoing spirit", but "finds she is the most content and most focused in the heat of battle".

Check out the reveal trailer below.
