Saturday Australian time we're going to get our first in-engine glimpse at the Warhammer/Creative Assembly collaboration, Total War: Warhammer, but ahead of that the gaming giants have released the first entry in a planned ongoing video series looking at myriad aspects of the game. This week, it's a peek at the Demigryph units.

Part lion and part eagle, these noble monstrous cavalry are ridden by only the most renowned knights of the Empire. Clad in ornate plate armour, their densely muscled frames enable them to thunder into combat, tearing their foes limb from limb and spreading fear among the enemy ranks.
The video is short and sweet but does give a glimpse into the level of detail even a single unit is getting in the game, and it also gave some goosebumps to realise that Creative Assembly is finally putting their Total War skills to something beyond known history and in the realms of high fantasy.

Watch the video embedded below, and stay tuned for more ahead of the in-engine gameplay reveal coming this Saturday Australian time.
