The Creative Assembly is continuing its free content support for Total War: Attila this week, with a new faction arriving alongside an historical battle and the game's latest update.
The Suebi, a new playable faction for all owners of Total War: ATTILA, are the stars of a free DLC which also includes a new historical battle (The Battle of Dara) and the latest game patch – all dropping this Thursday (June 25th).
Starting the period as a displaced people within the Western Roman Empire, the Suebians are a warlike confederation of smaller tribes who take quickly to a migratory lifestyle, making excellent raiders. The cities of northern Gaul could provide rich plunder, yet historically the Suebi found conquest in Spain; which path will you choose for them?
An all-new campaign pack is also set to release on the same day -- The Last Roman which includes a huge new campaign map as well as "a unique new “Roman Expedition” faction as one of 5 playable factions". You'll be able to play as Belisarius, one of the last great Roman generals and retake Rome from Emperor Justinian, or you can rebel against him and work to crown yourself Emperor of Rome.
