One of the surprise announcements at Bethesda's first ever pre-E3 press event this year, was the existence of a tablet and smartphone game built around building and managing your own Fallout universe Vault, it was made available on iOS immediately after the presser, but with no Android version in sight.

Thankfully Bethesda has heard the Android calls and is working on bringing it to the rival platform. There's no word on Windows, but then there never really is, is there?

Have you been playing Fallout Shelter on your iOS device? How does it fare in your book?

I read this as:

Holy smokes, we didn't realise that so many people that play Fallout had android, we better get to work porting it over. Someone fire Jenny from marketing, she really dropped the ball on this one... she owns an iPhone right?

I've been playing it non stop. I'll do a bit, then log out for an hour or so, then jump back in and everything I've been waiting on is done. One thing to watch out for is having kids, I had one guy father a whole bunch of kids because he has high charisma. later after those kids had grown up I tried to have more, but they wouldn't have sex because they were all related. So pro tip...multiple partners is the way to go!

Played for a few days. Decent. I'm personally just not a fan of games I have to keep logging in to maintain. I see other people do it and it annoys me.

I got "We planned this and signed a deal with Apple in 2009 when we started pre-production on Fallout 4 and didn't realize the world would wise up to Apple being snake-oil salesmen in the intervening six years."

November for the actual game, right?
Isn't this little app just an advertisement to keep the hype train going until then?

Toll is right though, no Android release is a fairly large oversight. Jenny from Marketing should pack her s*** in a box and security will see her out.

Jenny from Marketing is the one with the glasses and the hunchy shoulders right?
Sits across from the photocopier?
Vanessa told me she's sleeping with Dan the Whistler from Accounts. Dirty Denim Dan.

Its not like they could have developed the droid version along side the apple one or anything......
