The Ultimate Edition of hit 2006 game from Epic Games, Gears of War, is now headed to both PC and Xbox One. With the game being rebuilt from the ground up by franchise developer The Coalition, the PC version will be able to run in 4K resolution in addition to featuring DirectX 12 support.


The Xbox One version is due for release August 25th and will feature beta access for the upcoming Gears of War 4. The PC version will naturally require Windows 10, however no specific release date has been set.
