At EA's E3 press conference earlier today, came the cinematic debut of Mass Effect: Andromeda from BioWare. The latest entry in the critically acclaimed sci-fi series that will take place in an entirely new galaxy (Andromeda for those a bit slow on the uptake) and feature a brand new cast of characters.

Created using the Frostbite engine (the engine that drove BioWare's latest role-player Dragon Age: Inquisition), development on Mass Effect: Andromeda began after the trilogy's conclusion in 2012/13. All footage in the trailer was created utilising the game engine, but is only indicative of the visual target BioWare has for the final game.

Mass Effect: Andromeda has a tentative release window of late 2016 and will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
