The final consumer-ready version of the Oculus Rift was unveiled earlier today. Along with the surprise partnership with Microsoft (detailed below) that will result in a Xbox One controller being packed in with each unit, the consumer model will also feature removable headphone plus a built-in slider to adjust the distance of the two lenses. Plus, a bunch of games built for the Virtual Reality platform.




Okay, so even though this trailer is in crummy 2D, it's still pretty impressive. Especially once you use your imagination to try and picture what they might look like with the Oculus Rift.

One surprise in the trailer though is a first look at an Oculus-exclusive game from Insomniac Games, called Edge of Nowhere. It's the snow one.

Also, the first-person hockey thing looks interesting too.
