A sports game with a story? Well, the NBA 2K series has been slowly expanding its create a player mode for a few years now. Adding press conferences, coach meetings, training camps, and endorsement contracts. Now with NBA 2K16, the game will feature a story driven single-player portion written and directed by Spike Lee. The acclaimed director of films like Do The Right Thing, Malcolm X, and 25th Hour.
You might be asking yourself exactly how this came about. Well, according to Spike, “They asked me."
In this separate game mode players will take on the role of Frequency Vibrations “whose personal exploits off the court are just as chaotic as the game on it.”
And yep, the game will be billed as A Spike Lee Joint.

I know there has been a repeated bug in the last few versions where if you go over 99 in any ability it ticks over back to zero so you can't even make a lay-up.
