The latest game in the Deus Ex series has been announced, it's called Mankind Divided, and it's coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4. Originally planned to be announced as part of a cryptic teaser campaign run by Square Enix across social media, news of the game broke once screenshots were leaked, which then led to a Game Informer announcement as part of a detailed cover story in their next issue. No release date has been provided.

Taking place after the events of Human Revolution, in 2029, the story is set to continue following Alex Jensen in a story that one assumes will contain some division. And mankind. Okay, so details are pretty scarce but Game Informer have teased the following.
Set in 2029, two years after the events of Human Revolution, Adam Jensen returns and joins forces with an Interpol-funded task force aiming to hunt down and capture augmented terrorists in a world that now hates and fears transhumans. Jensen has a new suite of augmentations that allow him to cleverly navigate stealth, combat, and social interactions, but how Jensen chooses to solve every problem is entirely up to you.

Based on the screenshots and artwork revealed so far, the game is looking pretty tasty. Mmm, augmented human tech powers in a neon lit future-scape.

Man, I'd forgotten the retarded boss fights. I remember the devs apologised for them after release.

They said that they outsourced just the boss fights, how the f*** do you even do that? The question has been burning me for like 3 years every time I think about the franchise.

How you solve every problem is entirely up to you... As long as it involves shooting. It was a pretty cool game though, boss fights aside, keen to see their second go at things, now that they have a chance to fix those problems.

I remember it being a pretty s***** ending though, but I can't really remember what actually happens, I just remember it came down to a mass effect style choice of pushing buttons to get different endings. Must have totally killed the impact of it for me cos I can't for the life of me remember what happened after pushing the button.

Lets hope they don't f*** it up.

Yeah I remember doing all the different endings but not what they were.

Be good if they lose the piss filter effect too.

Loved Human Revolutions, the boss fights were pants, they did apologise and fix them in the directors cut.

The ending button choice was pants too, funnily enough the ending in the original Deus Ex was pretty similar.

Excited for this, hope it's good!
