Turtle Rock Studios has put its pencils down it was revealed today, as the studio's hotly anticipated Evolve has gone gold.

Fans of this site will know we've been covering the Left 4 Dead developer's newest project with a keen eye, having also had the luxury of being invited out to their studio in LA late last year.

In celebration of this achievement, 2K Games and Turtle Rock have unleashed the game's opening cinematic, which you can watch embedded below.

Evolve is an asymmetrical multiplayer title that pits four human hunters against a human-controlled monster. The game is shipping for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on February 10.
