After an extended alpha and beta period, Mojang is ready to release its collectible card game-meets-board game, Scrolls, next week.

The game will launch on Thursday, December 11th, on PC, Mac, and Android. The price has been reduced on all platforms to $5, and anyone that participated in the alpha or beta will have access to the full version.

For those interested in trying the game, a demo version is available on Mojang’s website (account required). To ensure the game does not become pay-to-win, the developer is capping the amount of scrolls you can purchase with real money.

“This sounds unlikely, but you really don’t have to spend more than the cost of Scrolls ($4.99) to progress,” Mojang writes. “All items are available for a reasonable amount of gold.”

This is so exciting, I didn't think the next Skyrim would be out until at least 2016.
