Following on from the highly-successful Curse of Naxxramas Adventure addition, Blizzard recently announced at BlizzCon 2014 that the very first expansion to their popular digital trading card game Hearthstone would feature two of the most rivalled factions in Warcraft history: Goblins vs Gnomes.

AusGamers' own Stephen Farrelly had the chance to sit down and chat with Blizzard's own Rachelle Davis and Yong Woo from the Hearthstone team to talk (and play... badly) Goblins vs Gnomes.
AusGamers: So how did you guys land on Goblins and Gnomes as the theme?

Rachelle: We wanted something that was a little bit different than what we’d done before. And one of the core values on the team is this idea of “delightful surprise” [and] I think Goblins and Gnomes, just on their own are delightful and certainly surprising if you think about the things that they invent, but also in relation to what’s come before…
