If you are thinking about grabbing Activision's upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on PC you'll be needing a whopping 55GB free according to the game's new
system requirements page on Steam.
Usually beefy PC games are typical of the MMO genre, but it seems like Sledgehammer Games' solo take on the long-running franchise is eager to prove otherwise. Still, the game isn't out until November 4th (3rd for pre-orders), so you'll certainly have enough time to clear out your SSD.
The other system requirements are less remarkable. These are the minimum:
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit
Processor: Intel Core i3-530 @ 2.93 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 810 @ 2.80 GHz or better
Memory: 6GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 @ 1GB / ATI Radeon HD 5870 @ 1GB or better
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 55GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX-compatible
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be hitting PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 come November 4th. Those who pre-order the game before its launch can jump into the game 24 hours early on November 3rd, if that's your jam. You can also check out the two week early launch trailer below.
