Ubisoft has revealed in a recent interview with IGN that players could take anywhere between 15 to 60 hours to complete all of what Far Cry 4 has to offer, including the game's story.

"Because we know the game can take people anywhere between 15 and 60 hours to complete, we didn't want people just to see Pagan Min everywhere," Narrative Director Mark Thompson told IGN.

Thompson also revealed that the newest psychotic villain also influenced Far Cry 4's scope and breadth. "We wanted the world to feel like it was owned by someone, we wanted you to feel Pagan Min everywhere. But, specifically, region to region, we have a different character who owns it, and that kind of colors the outposts, the side-quests, the specific characters and personalities."

Far Cry 4 is due on November 18, 2014 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Check out a new 20 plus minute gameplay trailer below exploring the open world of Far Cry 4's setting.

15 hours for the stuff you do by yourself, up to 45 more hours for the work that you delegated to the "Hey bro! It was allll me!" guy.

15 - 60 hours of content is one hell of a difference!

15 hours if you play the game normally
60 hours if you waste your time doing the same quests over and over and over again expecting something different on the next quest...

That's pretty much far cry 2 and on.

I remember when far cry was actually a game and not a mediocre task simulator.

Ease up there Wirlwind... if you're not prepared for fetch quest after fetch quest (endlessly) by today's gaming standard... you're gonna have a baaaad time.

I suppose evolution is inevitable, how Far Cry evolved from Crytek X-Isle into the bizarre Salvador Dali weirdness that wee see today is well rather perplexing.

Far Cry 2 is the odd man out and as the series has progressed it is a (far cry) from Jack Carver having his sailing holiday rudely interrupted by crazy mutants with rocket launchers.
I really hope in this next installment they have the foresight to remove the taaatow i swear to god if i ever hear that in a game again heads will roll.

i enjoy playing FarCry 2 it just seems to get better with age, add in few mods and a change in the weather and you have a game that just keeps on giving.

So their you have it i am hoping that this next installment will have the comedy from the first game and the freedom to do as you please ( i never get tired of blowing up stuff up) from the second game.

Ahh yes, Zaraq. Proof that evolution isn't always a beneficial adaptation ;)
