Mortal Kombat has been turning heads ever since it first appeared on arcade machines back in 1992, and not without controversy as well. The series has seen some dramatic changes over the course of its life, including the addition of brutal X-Ray vision impacts that will leave you clutching to your body parts in virtual agony.

Our own Joab "Joaby" Gilroy was able to get his hands on a demo for the latest in the series, Mortal Kombat X, and while he barely survived those brutal fatalities, he came away with some great impressions.
When Cassie Cage (daughter of Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage) does the splits mid-fight so she can punch a man in the dick so hard his testicles pop, it's still cringe-inducing but it's funny as well.
Check out Joaby's impressions of the demo for his complete thoughts.
