Destiny has become the biggest new IP launch ever in the UK, according to official figures from Chart-Track which puts Bungie's new online shooter at the very top of this weeks sales.
Sales during the launch week of Destiny have pushed over Ubisoft's Watch Dogs, which was the previous record holder. Sales figures have also come through, putting PlayStation and Xbox at a perfect 50% split. Xbox One took 36 per cent, Xbox 360 14 per cent and PlayStation 3 four per cent.
Destiny also marks the UK's biggest IP launch ever, surpassing Watch Dogs, Titanfall, Wolfenstein: The New Order and inFamous: Second Son. Officially Destiny is the 17th biggest video game launch ever in the UK, behind only games in the Call of Duty, FIFA, Battlefield and Grand Theft Auto series.
