Techland and Warner Bros. have announced that their parkour-infused zombie killer Dying Light will be hitting stores a bit earlier than expected, arriving on Australian and New Zealand shores come January 28th.

Alongside the new date, Techland has also announced pre-order details for those eager to throw down their money early. These pre-orders come with a free DLC mode called Be the Zombie. In this competitive asymmetric multiplayer mode, you invade other players’ games as the Night Hunter – an ultimate zombie with a unique set of deadly skills. By playing as the Night Hunter, you turn into a fast, agile and dangerous predator, whose objective is to hunt down human survivors.

he creators of Dying Light recently explained the game’s revolutionary Natural Movement system in the first Dev Diary video, recently released (and included here again in case you missed it). Designed internally by Techland, Natural Movement empowers the player to traverse the fictional city of Harran with unprecedented ease and precision, seamlessly connecting parkour-style moves with brutal fighting.

Australian gamers can expect to pay $99.95AUD for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, $89.95AUD for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and for PC you'll find retail at $79.95AUD and Steam at $71.99USD.
