Ahead of LittleBigPlanet 3's launch on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 this November, developer Media Molecule has announced a free spin-off game called Run Sackboy! Run! that will throw the series star Sackboy into a touchscreen-based endless runner.

Run Sackboy! Run! is bound for Android, iOS and PlayStation Vita, and those who download the mini-game can unlock exclusive Sackboy costumes according to the PlayStation Blog. By collecting bubbles in the LBP-themed "free-to-play, platform-survival game," as Sony XDev Europe senior producer Tom O'Connor calls it, players can unlock costumes and new abilities, like a jet pack, glider and magnet.

Players can also collect stickers as they undertake missions, which in turn unlock other rewards.

Run Sackboy! Run! will be released sometime in October. LittleBigPlanet 3 will be available on November 19th.
