Ragtag Studio announced today that Ray's the Dead will be coming to the PlayStation Vita.

A post on the PlayStation Blog revealed the studio's new plans to release the game for the Vita, having been initially announced for the PS4 and PC. The zombie action game will come to the Vita via PlayStation's Cross-Buy system, meaning that players who buy the PS4 version of the game will get a code for a free Vita version.

The game follows a a zombie named Ray who, through various flashbacks, learns about his life as a human and how he came to be bitten. These flashbacks are fully playable, meaning players will flip back and forth between zombie Ray and human Ray. The flashbacks also serve the purpose of building skills as Ray slowly pieces together his human life - skills which he can then use in the world of zombies he inhabits during the present.
