Interstellar Marines, the sci-fi FPS title from developer Zero Point Software, has surpassed the 100,000 copies sold mark through their Steam Early Access program.
According to the devs, the game has earned them "more than $1.5 million in revenue," a feat that many indie developers only dream of. Still in "heavy development," the tactical FPS will soon be adding cooperative multiplayer to celebrate the milestone, come an update on September 18th.
Zero Point Software revealed the game way back in 2006, receiving a number of "we are still alive" assurances from the developer until its release last year on Steam Early Access. Those eager can
pick it up on Steam for $18.99, which include both Early Access and its upcoming expansions and updates.

The game has some pretty large scope if you look at the development blogs and they intend to make a large intergalactic coop campaign which looks to trump anything halo attempted. The only down side I think is their a long way off from doing that, not much info on how much of the major parts of the game are complete. The FPS element however is pretty complete so at least they have that done.
