After revealing in June that successful Kickstarter title The Banner Saga would be heading to iPad, Windows and Android tablets, publisher Versus Evil has announced that the team are aiming for a September release.

Stoic's Viking-themed role-playing strategy game launched on Windows and Mac back in January, and the tablet version is said to feature controls reworked for touchscreens. It will be listed as a premium title, though no price has yet been determined.

Wondering what The Banner Saga is all about? Check out our review to see just what the Vikings have in store for the tablet devices.
