After successfully garnering nearly $3 million in funding from their original Kickstarter, inXile is on track to repaying the public's funding with a solid sequel to the original Wasteland release of 1988.

At Adelaide’s AVCon convention, AusGamers was given a chance to chat with inXile's Chris Avellone to grill him over how he and the team at inXile Entertainment have created a sequel to a game from 1988 that few people remember, and how they've spent all that Kickstarter cash. Alongside the interview, we were also given a chance to see the game in-action, with Avellone offering an in-depth look at just what kind of crazy scenarios a player will find themselves in when it comes to Wasteland 2.

Our full interview can be found over here, with our hands-off preview available for reading over here.
