Those wishing they had the chance to try out Destiny's beta but were having trouble securing a code need not worry, as developer Bungie has today revealed that the entire beta is now open to all those aspiring to be a Guardian.

A new blog post notes that the servers should now be open to anyone with a PlayStation or Xbox console, however, you'll require at the very least a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live subscription to participate. The beta has been running since late last week, where initially PlayStation platforms were able to access the testing grounds before the beta was opened up to Xbox platforms earlier this week.

The beta allows testers the chance to taste the sci-fi universe that Bungie is creating, but only up until level eight (though you can roll three classes) so savour every moment. Players can access a variety of story missions, the very first strike mission (think dungeons in MMOs) and The Crucible, a PvP-centered zone for those who want to flex their competitive muscles. You'll find all required information directly through your console.
