Square Enix have set a December 9th 2014 release date for Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, the Tomb Raider-themed game from Crystal Dynamics that builds on the couch co-op focus of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, supporting four players this time, up from two (thanks Eurogamer).
In her new adventure, Lara Croft travels to Egypt and must join forces with rival archaeologist Carter Bell and imprisoned gods Horus and Isis, to defeat the evil god Set. Featuring a four-player co-op story, players must work together to explore the temple, defeat hordes of enemies from the Egyptian underworld, solve devious puzzles, and avoid deadly traps. All the while, players will compete for treasure, powerful artifacts, and ultimate bragging rights.

Latest Tomb Raider was good, but Legend, Anniversary and Underworld were more fun and interesting. Hopefully the next in the reboot line will be more like those.

I expected the latest tomb raider to be open world on an island with hang-gliders, not sure how I got that impression, and it was still good, but now I just want them to make that exact game.

The game here looks pretty sweet though, like action baldurs gate. But it also looks stressful, the idea of letting other people down in all that mess is horrid.

Have none of you played Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light? It was awesome and slightly glitchy in a way that made it hilarious. The puzzle solving never got old.

This is a sequel to that, and you should play it CO-OP (stress on co-op, with a friend preferably) if you haven't already.

Don't worry its not, even after the hundredth death you could still find something to laugh at. Anyone who gave you s*** for dying in a game like this isn't the sort of person you should play ANY games with.

Yeah you can play it single player, it's was one of those arcade titles that don't cost full price but can still pack in heaps of fun.

My god. Me and my mate played the first one through and it was great, and freaking hilarious.... its supprising how long it can be funny for you to shoot your rope across a ditch and while your mates climbing across u let it go... makes the game 2x longer to play through, but non stop side splitting laughter.... now its 4 player co op. Where do i sign up!!!!
