Blizzard has today announced that its first major expansion for popular free-to-play digital card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will be arriving next week.
The single-player orientated expansion Curse of Naxxramas will be opening its first "wing" come July 22nd. The wing will be available completely free to those who log in during the game's month-long launch event. Each of the next four wings will open on a weekly basis, going at a cost of $6.99 per wing or 700 in-game gold.
Curse of Naxxramas will pit players against AI-controlled bosses as they overcome the challenging nature of the original World of Warcraft raid. Overcoming these enemies will unlock 30 new cards that players can then use in the more traditional multiplayer scenario. For more on the Naxxramas pricing, check out
