As promised, Bungie has released the official mobile companion app for Destiny, allowing players to familiarise themselves with the interface ahead of the imminent beta test for the Halo creator's much anticipated new multi-platform first person shooter.
From the creators of Halo and Bungie.net, the official Destiny Companion App connects to your Destiny adventure wherever life finds you. Inspect your Guardian, analyze player stats, and compare your Grimoire score. Keep in touch with your friends in the Bungie Community via forums, groups, or private messaging and track them down on the PlayStation Network or Xbox LIVE. And, receive the latest news and updates about Destiny.
Android device owners can now find the Destiny companion app on Play Store, and iOS users on the iTunes App Store.

An overview of the app's features was outlined in this recent post.

Destiny's beta is scheduled to kick off on PlayStation 3 and 4 on July 18th, followed by Xbox One and 360 on July 24th, ahead of the game's full launch on September 9th 2014.
