Mass Effect developer BioWare has issued a new survey for fans of the series, which asks for your input on what elements the next Mass Effect game should highlight.

The questionnaire, posted on Twitter by Mass Effect producer Michael Gamble, asks a variety of questions gauging just how much you know of the universe, and what you would like to see improved. Questions also include topics like story, exploration, combat or customisation possibilities, all of which BioWare eagerly want user input on.

If you feel like being the guinea pig, you can find the survey available over here. Hopefully we'll be hearing more about the fourth title in the series sometime soon.

In the meantime, why not look at the work we already did for BioWare in our very own feature looking at Mass Effect's future possibilities.

They are asking the kind of questions a dev would ask about a new IP, not one which has existed for 7 and compromises games, comics, novels and anime.

i get the feeling this has more to do with marketing than the actual game.

Trying to please everyone is what makes such homogenized messes in the first place... I wish most devs still had the freedom to bring a vision to life rather than safely get a product out the door because with 100 million spent you cant risk displeasing anyone.

Yeah you have to stick to the vision and ride it out, otherwise it turns out a watered down turd.
