We're getting more than a bit pumped for Evolve here at AusGamers. It breaks competitive and cooperative multiplayer rules with its four-vs-one aesthetic. It looks gorgeous. One player embodies the videogame boss trope, flipping years of relentless but ultimately predictable AI programming on its head, it's going to have dedicated servers in Australia and it comes from the team that brought us Left 4 Dead.

I'm not sure there's much left to say, really. Well, I did put together this little write-up on how the newly-announced Kraken plays, if you're keen to know. He's more than just an ugly, scary looking thing... he's electrifying.

Read our Evolve hands-on preview with the new Kraken monster right here.
