Red Barrels' previously released survival horror Outlast and its Whistleblower DLC have finally made their way to Microsoft's Xbox One console, appearing on the Xbox Games Store at a price point of $19.99 and $8.99 respectively.

The store does currently state that the game will be available come June 24th, it seems someone has hit the switch early allowing eager horror fans the chance to purchase the game and its DLC. Outlast, the story of which revolves around an independent journalist breaking into a repurposed mental asylum after receiving a tip-off, launched on Windows PC on September 4th and PlayStation 4 on February 5th.

Outlast's first DLC, Whistleblower, was first released on PC and PlayStation 4 in May. The DLC follows an anonymous tipster, a contract software engineer called Weylon Park, and focusses on the events leading up to the main game. The DLC also explores beyond the events of the first game to reveal the final chapter in Mount Massive Asylum's story.

Find out more about Outlast in our original review of the game over here.
