Sunset Overdrive, the upcoming action title from Insomniac Games, hits Xbox One October 28th, CEO Ted Price announced during Microsoft's E3 2014 conference.

A new gameplay trailer was revealed on stage showing off just what you can expect from the cartoonish looking shooter. Utilising a cool skate-like movement system to zip around at outlandish speeds, the main protagonist quickly dispatches his enemies with a range of weaponry such as rocket launchers, firecracker guns and more.

Alongside the gameplay trailer, Price also revealed on stage that players can expect a chaotic eight-player mode when it comes to Sunset Overdrive's multiplayer. Dubbed Chaos Mode, the cooperative action will see players fighting together to overcome the OverDrive Delirium XT drinkers turned mutants. Check it out below.
