After numerous leaks throughout the previous weeks leading up to E3 2014, EA and developer Visceral Games have today announced that Battlefield: Hardline will be releasing worldwide come October 21st.
A new trailer has been revealed after it was initially leaked by the Internet, showcasing the game in action with its new cops vs robbers take on the more traditional Battlefield IP. Titled "Into the Jungle," the trailer gives a glimpse at the more single-player focused content, teasing a full five-minute multiplayer gameplay trailer for E3 2014 which starts next week.
Battlefield: Hardline hasn't had the easiest track record,
originally leaking pre-alpha footage ahead of its official reveal earlier in May which prompted EA to prematurely announce the title. Again the title's content leaked
only days ago with a full nine-minute gameplay footage of the alpha, showing a lone player roaming one of the game's maps as they perused the arsenal of weaponry and vehicles.
Hopefully EA will be able to keep some of its secret ahead of their conference on Tuesday, however with their past records it seems that may not be the case. Battlefield: Hardline will be available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One come October 21st. Find the trailer below.
