Hitman developer IO Interactive has today revealed the first bit of concept art for the next title in the long running Agent 47 series, featuring a rather glamorous-looking building in Central Europe.
The developer notes in their
newest blog post that players will be able to creep around the entire building, with IO claiming that the structure itself is larger than any location in Hitman: Absolution. As for the "Sanguine" poster, IO says that derives from the Latin word for bloody, so hopefully it implies a throwback to Blood Money.
Those expecting to see the next-gen and PC title at E3 2014 will sadly have to wait, with the developer noting that the game isn't quite ready yet to be shown to the public. "We’re focusing all of our time and efforts into creating the best possible Hitman game," writes the post. "That’s our number one priority and we don’t want to divert valuable resources to show something before it’s ready."
The new Hitman is expected to arrive on "PC and next-gen consoles" though no date has yet been given.
