EA's "on the house' promotion on its Origin service continues to surprise today, offering up the PC version of Battlefield 3 completely free, until June 4th 2014.

Unless you count having to install and register an account for the online distribution services, there's no strings here, just download away.

It's also worth noting that the free offering is for the base BF3 game only, so you won't be getting all the DLC extras, but hey, it's still only a three year old game, and it's free. Have at it.
