Undead Labs has announced that players can expect the next DLC for zombie survival title State of Decay to hit the Xbox 360 come May 30th, and will bring with a handful of new content.
Titled Lifeline, the DLC will follow a "platoon of male and female soldiers, a unit called Greyhound One." Players are tasked with keeping the platoon alive while attempting to maintain order in the overrun city. The expansion also offers a new story, new weapons and game features, as well as an entirely new map called Danforth, which covers an apparent four kilometres.
"If all goes well," Undead labs
wrote on its blog, "this may be the first time in gaming history that a game was released BEFORE the official public target. It’s a long story, best told over copious quantities of frosty beverages, but the short version is that both the Undead Labs team and the crew at Microsoft has been burning the midnight oil to make this happen before State of Decay celebrates its first birthday."
The DLC will be priced at $6.99 and will be available on Xbox 360 come May 30th. A trailer can be found below. No word yet on when PC players will gaining access to the game's DLC.
