Free-to-play zombie MOBA Dead Island: Epidemic has entered into the Steam Early Access arena, with developer Stunlock Studios offering three starter packs to gain access to the game.

While on its launch the title will be free-to-play, those wanting to jump in ahead of its planned open beta phase will find three starter packs up for purchase. Each one offers access to the game, though the higher-priced tiers also come with a select set of weaponry and costumes to dress your character up in. These include Tier 2 weapons, a Golden Precise shotgun, a Keghammer (yes, kegs on hammers) and a bundle of character and gear points plus in-game cash.

You can find the Early Access page and all its starter packs over on Steam, with the cheapest option starting at $16.99 and rolling through to $44.99. Do remember though that this is early access, so expect bugs and the usual in-development tweaking that comes with the name.
