Announced last November, The Stanley Parable's rather omnipresent narrator has officially joined the ranks of other notable narrators in Valve's Dota 2.

Announcer packs for Valve's multiplayer online battle arena allow players to hear match commentary from characters from other games, including Bastion's narrator, Dr. Kleiner from Half-Life 2 and GLaDOS from the Portal series.

"The pack inserts the Narrator and his particular brand of sardonic meta-commentary into Dota 2, rendering the game not only understandable but even downright accessible to the common layperson," developer Davey Wreden wrote.

The announcer pack is currently retailing at $10, however a 10 percent discount is currently available for the first 48 hours of sale. The Stanley Parable itself is also on sale in celebration of the Dota 2 pack, with a nice 50 percent off on Steam.
