Joab, as you may know, is something of a DayZ survivor. With this in mind, we asked him what he thought of SOE's forthcoming H1Z1 which clearly takes its inspiration from the successful mod-turned-standalone title, expecting a loyalty-driven fanboy reaction, but instead we got a measured level of excitement and adoration for what is pretty much going to become its own genre.

So naturally we asked him to articulate this for you, the swarming masses, so you might better understand why another game in similar coagulated vein is not only worth your interest, but eventually your investment.
