After posting up their fourth quarter annual financial report, Electronic Arts has today revealed that the publisher will be airing their E3 2014 live broadcast on Tuesday, June 10th at 5:00AM AEST.
Hosted by Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson at the Shine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, the live event will feature "never-before-seen content" from EA’s upcoming games as well as sneak peeks at new projects and intellectual properties currently in development.
During EA's quarterly earnings call today, Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson noted that of the six new projects to be unveiled, one will be powered by the Frostbite engine and is slated for a Q3 release. This could be any number of IP's under the publisher's wings, though the most obvious answer is a new Battlefield, especially with recent rumours suggesting it may be Visceral Games' police-themed title.
Wilson also revealed that Electronic Arts will not be releasing a new Need for Speed title in 2014, with the company CEO citing the need to "ensure we're delivering high-quality experience for Need for Speed players next year."
Wanting to catch all the action as it plays out? EA will be hosting the live presentation on Spike TV, streamed online at ea.com/e3, e3.spike.com and twitch.tv. AusGamers will also be on hand delivering all the latest news to you as it becomes available, so make sure you stay tuned for further details.
