EA and Respawn Entertainment have outlined details for the first downloadable expansion for their well received shooter Titanfall, revealing a three map content pack titled Expedition during a panel at PAX East 2014:
Coming this May, Expedition will introduce three new maps to the Frontier including Runoff, Swamplands and Wargames.

In the wake of the Battle of Demeter, IMC Expeditionary Forces travel deep into Frontier space to recover from their recent defeat. On an uncharted world, the IMC begin construction of a new fleet operations base, using newly acquired water collection and filtration plants to support the new base. When drainage operations reveal ancient ruins and artifacts of an unknown origin in a nearby swamp, Spyglass activates an archaeological team to investigate the site. To maintain battle readiness at the new base, IMC Pilots use simulation pods to train for anticipated Militia raids, based on lessons learned in Angel City and IMC Airbase Sierra.
A localised press release from EA marked Australian pricing at AUD$13.45 for the pack, and noted that a season-pass for three successive packs can be had for AUD$29.99. Further details can be found at titanfall.com/dlc.

Ah ok, so IMC are actually meant to get their asses kicked in the last mission of the campaign, I wasn't sure when I played it cos the IMC team I was on kept losing every match anyway, wasn't sure if the ending I got was the 'bad' ending cos we lost so much or if thats how the story goes.

I was hoping for a new game mode, some kind of horde style co-op thing, but that might be a bit much to hope for for DLC

Getting 'map packs' confused with DLC again EA.

I have to agree with you guys though, if the DLC is simply maps, with no new weapons/modes/titans/packs, etc then I can't seemyself putting down any money on this so called DLC.

paid map packs is a great way to fragment your community and help kill off a game.
