Blizzard has revealed a rather
large list of patch notes for their upcoming alpha test of the latest expansion to hit the nearly 10 year old MMO, Warlords of Draenor. The list contains a number of various changes you'll see in the expansion, including the item stat squish, large class changes due to said squish and of course a number of content changes.
As mentioned, the item squish is one of the biggest changes coming to the expansion, where Blizzard will look at cutting down on the rather inflated stats currently assigned to loot. Certain class abilities like Warrior's Cleave or the Hunter's Aspect of the Hawk will be baked into other passive bonuses, or removed completely from the game. In addition, performance stats such as Hit and Expertise will disappear to further enhance Blizzard's vision of less intensive gear juggling.
Warlords of Draenor's alpha patch notes show a clear sign of what is to come from Blizzard's fifth expansion, one that is sure to clean up a large amount of bloat that the game has gathered in its 10 years of operating. In combating the crazy damage that some players can do, the game now seems to be on track for further extension of life, and maybe even giving back the feeling of enjoyment from seeing larger than ordinary numbers.
World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor will be available sometime during now and the end of the year. Let us know in the comments below on your thoughts about the new expansion and its direction.

:(
Block/Parry//Dodge is boring as f***. Haste made the game really fun. Hopefully there is a middle point in there somewhere because I don't think I could go back to the game with f*** all haste. Makes it much more fun.
