EA and DICE have revealed a new way to manage your in-game loadouts for Battlefield 4 ahead of jumping into the actual game, called Loadout Presets. The new feature will allow players to have complete sets of gear, eliminating the need to edit each individual slot

Players will have access to two custom loadouts for each kit and vehicle, though Premium members will gain access to an additional two slots on top. Swapping out of these different presets is handled by the Battlelog app on tablet or phone, and can be done mid-game for those who need the ultimate multi-tasking.
For example, those who want quick access to a “field engineer” Preset can create one of these with the MX4, SRAW, Repair Tool, and Mechanic specialization – or any other combination of the player’s choice. If you are more of a combat engineer, you might want to create a preset with the M1014 shotgun, RPG, M2 SLAM, and Offensive specialization – it’s all up to you.Presets also have the option of being given custom names, just to ensure you don't forget which is which, and can be tailored to different situations. For more details on the new feature check out the Battlefield blog.

have they fixed the battlelog app yet? last I saw there were nothing but terrible reviews on google play, it ran like a bag of s*** on my tablet and phone and basically took about 10 minutes to load (no, I'm not kidding).

Too many load out options.

Bf2/1942 had the perfect amount of kit options. about 1300.
BF3 and BF4 have roughly 13 trillion kit options (probably more).

Yours truly
mad.

Good some maps are better suited to an Engineer with an AA and DMR and others require an RPG and SMG
