Continuing the PC system requirements trend for today, Warner Bros. Entertainment has officially confirmed just what specs you'll be needing to run their upcoming RPG Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, and it doesn't seem light on the power budget.
According to the
Steam page, PC gamers will need at least a quad-core CPU, 4GB of RAM and 25GB of free HDD. Moreover, the game will only support DX11 and 64bit OS systems, similar to Ubisoft's
Watch Dogs PC specs.
Minimum:
OS: 64-bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8
Processor: Intel Core i5-750, 2.67 GHz | AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 | AMD Radeon HD 6950
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 25 GB available space
Recommended:
OS: 64-bit: Win 7, Win 8
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz | AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 | AMD Radeon HD 7970
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 40 GB available space
Besides the system requirements, the Steam page also tells us that we can expect the PC version to appear on October 8th, though Warner Bros. hasn't yet said whether this is the official date or just a placement.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Check out the most recent story trailer below for a glimpse into the game, and just why you may be needing an upgrade sooner rather than later.

if people want to own a pc with console parts they should just ditch the PC and get a console and stop holding back PC games development by dragging on the low end
or, better, get a quality gamer PC
or just play great games like FTL and papers please that dont need uber graffix
or have both
*or there are a lot of or's
