While Nintendo's Wii U home console may be struggling to keep its head above the water, Nintendo's handheld business is still trucking along nicely with today's announcement of a new Pink 2DS to coincide with the Kirby: Triple Deluxe launch in May.

The pink and white handheld device will be launching alongside the Kirby title on May 17th for Australia, and presents itself in a rather eye-catching colourful design, complete with a white stripe across the side and back of the system. Accompanying the pink 2DS is a a new silver Nintendo 2DS Carrying Case, available for purchase separately on the same day.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe will be available on May 17th, and provides a platforming experience full of colourful landscapes and enemies big and small for Kirby to inhale, including certain foes which he can suck up and then copy their unique abilities.
