Not so long ago, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Australian publishing and distribution partner, Namco Bandai, brought out some CD Projekt RED talent for our pickings, who also happened to show us a demo of the game.

While the demo was something we'd already witnessed out at Gamescom last year, it didn't dampen the need to play the damn game already. From monster-hunting to side-questing with game-world changing results, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is shaping up to be one of the absolute must-haves of 2014. During their Aussie visit, we took aside CD Projekt RED's Michal Platkow-Gilewski to grill him about what the team has learnt during their Witcher tenure and what going open-world means for the series and the studio.
